Jason J. Taylor, Indiana Dunes National Park Superintendent, will speak on his background and share his philosophy around the stewardship of National Parks.

Welcome Superintendent Taylor!
Jason is an experienced resource and land management leader with more than 20 years of federal and local government service. Prior to arriving at Indiana Dunes, Jason served as the Director of the Aldo Leopold Wilderness Research Institute, an interagency, federal research facility focused on wilderness and wild lands protected areas research.
Within the National Park Service Jason was Superintendent at Klondike Gold Rush NHP, an international, cross-boundary protected area, and the most visited National Park unit in Alaska.
Jason earned a Ph.D. and M.S. in Natural Resources and Environment from the University of Michigan and a B.S. in Biology from the University of Michigan-Flint.
