Chicago Fire FC’s 2022 FIFA World Cup watch parties officially kicked off this Sunday, November 20 at the Fire Pitch, providing exclusive experiences and activations for Chicago soccer fans throughout the tournament.

In addition to airing every World Cup match at the Fire Pitch (aside from those kicking off at 4:00 am CT), the Club will also host a simultaneous watch party at the Aon Grand Ballroom at Navy Pier on Friday, November 25 for the highly anticipated USMNT vs. England group stage match. The event will include a live broadcast of the match and special appearances by Fire players and coaches, as well as USA flag and poster giveaways, food, beer, and non-alcoholic beverages for fans to enjoy during the exciting matchup.

Club Partners will also activate onsite at Navy Pier to provide exclusive offerings for fans in attendance, including free samples provided by Heineken. Admission will be free and on a first come, first serve basis, with doors opening at 11:00 a.m. CT and the match kicking off at 1 p.m. CT.

At the Fire Pitch, soccer fans will have the opportunity to catch nearly every match while enjoying unique brunch and lunch items at Heineken Pub97 from countries participating in the tournament. Watch party table reservations are now open for parties of six or more and fans can make as many reservations as they’d like ahead of time. Space will be limited so attendees are encouraged to make reservations now by filling out the form here.

The limited time World Cup menu will feature Swiss Quiche Lorraine, Polish potato pierogis, Mexican tacos and more, plus special international beer from Belgium, England, Poland and Germany.

Additionally, as part of the World Cup fan activations set for the Fire Pitch, Chicago Fire play-by-play announcer Tyler Terens will host a special live recording of the Club’s Intercontinental Podcast onsite, featuring a live interview with a Fire player directly following the USMNT vs. Iran match on Tuesday, November 29. The match will begin at 1:00 p.m. CT, with the Fire Pitch opening at 8:30 a.m. CT.

Watch party attendees will have the opportunity to take part in a daily prize drawing to win Fire jerseys, 2023 match tickets, Fire merchandise signed by Xherdan Shaqiri, Gaga Slonina, Brian Gutiérrez, and more. The shop onsite will also sell custom co-branded Fire merchandise with the U.S., Mexico, Poland, and Switzerland, as well as general Fire gear, throughout the tournament.

As a reminder, the Fire Pitch will open 30 minutes before kick-off for the first game each day (aside from 4:00 a.m. CT kickoffs) and remain open until the end of the last match of the day. The Fire Pitch will be closed on Thursday, November 24 for Thanksgiving.

All Season Ticket Members of the Club will enjoy a brand-new benefit this year, receiving 10 percent off all food and beverage and 20 percent off merchandise at the Pitch during the World Cup watch parties.
