“STUNNING... A marvelous mashup of media, verbatim theatre, jukebox musical and autobiographical confession” (Globe & Mail)

100 voices. 25 years. 1 man. Welcome to the age of Pac-Man, Star Wars, and MTV!

Over the course of 100 minutes, Rick Miller (who Entertainment Weekly called “one of the 100 most creative people alive today”) takes you on a breathless journey, covering the defining events, pop culture, and music from the ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s. Watch as he transforms into hundreds of celebrities and politicians and pays tribute to over 50 musicians and bands who defined Generation X.

Rick Miller follows up his hit show BOOM with BOOM X, the Gen X stand-alone sequel that begins with Woodstock in August of '69 and ends in 1995 when the internet started to dominate our lives. Relive the days of disco, the oil crisis, Watergate, the Cold War, video games, punk rock, the (second) British Invasion, and more with BOOM X!

Whether you’re a Gen Xer, a Boomer, a Millennial, or even Gen Z, you’ll be blown away by BOOM X!
