Join artist, Mary Ann Pals for an artist talk and explore Mary's work in the Main Gallery exhibit, Spirit of the Dunes: Artist and Artwork of the Indiana Dunes.
Mary Ann Pals is a pastel and charcoal artist living near the southern tip of Lake Michigan in Chesterton, IN. She has enjoyed doing artwork all her life. Pals regularly exhibits her work in area, national, and international shows and art fairs. She is a Signature member of three nationally recognized pastel societies: Great Lakes Pastel Society, MidAmerica Pastel Society (also Master Pastelist), and Chicago Pastel Painters. She has also received Master Circle status from the International Association of Pastel Societies.
In 2023, Mary Ann was chosen to be an Artist-in-Residence for the Indiana Dunes National Park. She enjoys teaching drawing and pastel painting to adults and teens.
