Please complete the form below to register for the Too Hot to Handel Choir Auditions. Performances on January 11-12, 2025 at the Auditorium Theater in Chicago. Auditions will be held Monday, September 9th, 2024 from 7pm-9:15pm at Old St. Pat’s Church, 700 W. Adams (corner of Adams and Desplaines).
During the audition, we will check in and meet together in Old St. Patrick’s Church Hall, warm up together, sing through two movements as a large group, and then break out to audition in small groups using excerpts from those two pieces. It is not necessary to bring a piece for audition.
If you are invited to join the choir after your audition, rehearsals will be held from 7pm-9:15pm at Old St. Pat’s on the following Mondays in 2024:
- September 16, 23, 30
- October 7, 21, 28
- November 4, 11, 18
- December 9, 16
Rehearsals at the Auditorium Theater in 2025:
- Rehearsals: Wednesday, January 8th (6:30pm - 9:00pm); Thursday, January 9th (5:15pm - 10:00pm); and January 10th (11:45am - 5:00pm).
- Performances: Saturday, January 11th (7:30pm) and January, 12th (3:00pm).
