Spread the word, Legacy Foundation is looking for a Community Engagement Intern!

The intern will work closely with the Scholarship Administrator to implement a scholarship alumni giving campaign. Also, the intern will work with the Community Development Director to meet goals of the small business and farmers market programs. Student will gain experience in marketing, event planning, and project management.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Creating a database of contacts for Legacy Foundation’s Scholarship Alumni Giving Program, utilizing historical files and conducting email/phone outreach to verify contact information.
  • Assisting in set-up for meetings, events, and farmers markets.
  • Scheduling social media postings for South Shore Neighborhood Development Corporation and farmers market program. 
  • Engaging with farmers market vendors to create event marketing materials.

Students must be enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program at an Indiana college or university. The internship is estimated to last 10 weeks from the date of hire. Pay $10/hour. Submit resumes to legacy@legacyfdn.org by Friday, March 19, 2021.
