A Reba McEntire Tribute, starring Corrie Sachs, was a hit at Theatre at the Center on Sunday, July 14.
Sachs, who is from Las Vegas, was winner of the 2011 “Tribute Act of the Year.” She is considered to be one of the best Reba McEntire acts in the country. Her looks, voice, and mannerisms amazingly captured The Queen of Country.
Sachs presented a video in which she shows how she transforms herself into Reba. Costume changes were done on stage with several Reba-style jackets.
A professional dancer, Sachs gave an energetic performance in which she engaged with the audience. Highlights of Reba McEntire’s hits included Fancy, Take it Back, Little Rock, The Night the Lights Went Out in Georgia, and Is There Life Out There. She ended the show with a patriotic salute to veterans with the song, God Bless the USA.
