You Asked, We Answered!
Question: I inherited an interesting antique plate from my mother recently, and would like to know more about it. Can the library help with that?
Answer: LCPL subscribes to Kovels Antiques and Collectibles, Library Edition. It's part of the Libby app, so if you have a card type that allows Libby access, you can also use Kovels.
If you don't want to use your phone or tablet to access Kovels, you can also go to libbyapp.com in your computer's browser.
Once you have Libby open either in your app or on your computer, tap the building icon at the bottom of your screen to go to the front page.
Then scroll down until you see Extras and tap or click that. This is where you'll find Kovels! (As well as Kanopy and The Great Courses.)
You can browse Kovels by material and item type, or try a search. Happy researching!
