The Munster Police Department is pleased to announce that five Munster students were honored in this year's state-wide Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) Indiana Poster Contest!  In April 2023, D.A.R.E. officers from all over the State of Indiana invited their fifth grade students to create a poster displaying what they learned through their D.A.R.E. classes this year.  The entries were submitted to D.A.R.E. Indiana which judged them and sponsored the prizes.

Each of the students who completed the Munster Police Department’s D.A.R.E. Program during the past school year were invited along with fifth-graders from all over Indiana to create a poster displaying what they learned during their D.A.R.E. classes. Many entries from our town were sent down to D.A.R.E. Indiana by D.A.R.E. Officer James Ghrist to be judged with the other entrees.
