Organized by the Indiana Land Resources Council (ILRC), Purdue Extension, and the Indiana State Department of Agriculture (ISDA). The main goal of the Summit was to introduce a new policy handbook named “Community Planning for Agriculture and Natural Resources: A guide for local Government.”
The Summit acquainted attendees with the policy Handbook through informative sessions and knowledgeable panelists. Topics included food and agriculture with sessions on Indiana livestock, farmland preservation, and urban agriculture and aquaculture.
