
First Folio Theatre in Oak Brook is looking for students who have just completed their junior or senior year of high school for a tech internship for the summer. This is a paid internship. Interns will focus on helping the theater’s tech coordinator prepare for the return of live theater in the fall.
Internships are for 10 weeks in June/July/August. Dates of employment are flexible (see below).

Salary: $14.50 per hour, 20 hours a week, for 10 weeks
Work Hours: 20 hours a week; daytime hours; some flexibility is possible.
Commitment: 10 weeks Between June 7 and August 29, exact schedule to be negotiated between the employees and their supervisor.
Duties: Interns will have a variety of tasks, all of which will be supervised by persons who will provide training as necessary. Primary duties will consist of assisting in the organizing and preparation of the storage and building areas, including the building of some new tech preparation systems.
- This work will be done in person at our theater location in Oak Brook.
- All employees will be required to be vaccinated against COVID.
- Workers must be able to carry up to 30 lbs. of materials, be able to climb stairs, and be prepared to use power tools under supervision.
