Calling all singer/songwriters!
We need you to be part of “Michiana Songs and Stories”, an event presented by Acting Ensemble on November 2, 2024. This is a fundraiser, and the money will go toward improving the infrastructure in our theater – new stage lighting and sound system as well as new seating.
We are offering all local singers/songwriters/storytellers an opportunity to perform an original song, tell the story of why you wrote it, and talk with the audience about the experience for you and for them. All songs must be original work, no “covers” please without permission.
Each performance will last 15 minutes.
There will be one rehearsal in the space, and you will be expected to bring your own instrument, except piano, which is on-site. We will pass out your contact information to everyone in the audience if you wish to do that.
