It has long been known there are barriers for a person returning to society from prison. Primary among these barriers is not having desired job skills and also lacking the necessary people skills sought in today's workforce. This is where the Indiana Department of Correction staff who work as members of the HIRE team come into play. HIRE stands for the Hoosier Initiative for Re-Entry and consists of Department of Correction employees who facilitate soon-to-be-former offenders in their search for meaningful employment.

The Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Community and Urban Forestry (CUF) Program, with funding provided by the United States Department of Agriculture Forest Service (USFS) announces the 2020 Community & Urban Forestry Assistance Grant (CUFA) are open for application.

The Indiana Small Business Development Center (SBDC) has partnered with the IU Kelley School of Business to provide digital marketing and E-commerce assistance to small businesses affected by COVID-19. Through project HOPE, IU Kelley students, under the direction of faculty members, work directly with client companies of the Indiana SBDC to complete digital marketing and E-commerce projects.
