In celebration of its 30th anniversary, Shattered Globe Theatre is raffling off a gleaming 1930’s Corona typewriter from Tom Hanks’ personal collection.

The Towle Theater is pleased to reopen virtually.  After a hiatus due to the pandemic, the Towle will be presenting a virtual production of the musical Daddy Long Legs by Paul Gordon and John Caird, based on the novel by Jean Webster.

 The Chesterton Art Center is offering monthly children's art classes taught by Jennifer Aitchison throughout the school year.  The Art Center will be zooming live virtual classes in March.  (On-site classes may be added later when it is safe to do so.)

Court Theatre, under the continuing leadership of Charles Newell, Marilyn F. Vitale Artistic Director, and Executive Director Angel Ysaguirre, announces the online premiere of its Spotlight Podcast. A key component of Court’s community engagement work, the Spotlight Series—which has in the past brought staged readings from BIPOC playwrights to local communities on Chicago’s South and West sides—has been reimagined for 2021 as a series of four audio podcast episodes directed and performed by local theatre artists.
