This Friday morning (3/4/2022) at approximately 5:43 a.m., troopers from the Indiana State Police Lowell Post were dispatched to a two-vehicle crash that had occurred on the southbound side of I-65 at the 243.1 mile-marker, which is 3 miles north of the Lowell exit. The crash involved two semi-tractors and resulted in injuries to both drivers.
On March 4th, four investigators from the Indiana State Police (ISP) received awards from the United States Secret Service (USSS) for their use of training received at the National Computer Forensic Institute (NCFI) in aiding in their complex and highly technical investigations.

The Superintendent of the Indiana State Police, Doug Carter, has announced the promotion of Major Kevin Hobson to the rank of Lieutenant Colonel. Lt. Col. Hobson will now serve as Deputy Superintendent, Assistant Chief of Staff Investigation and Intelligence.
