Get ready for the thrilling second home game of South Shore Roller Derby, the leading flat track roller derby league in Northwest Indiana, at Crown Point.
Join the cheering crowd on Saturday, June 24, and support South Shore's two teams, the Boxcars and Runaways, at Franciscan Health Pavilion in Bulldog Park. Last year's event drew in a record-breaking audience! The doors will open at 5:00pm, with the first whistle at 5:30pm. The Runaways will kick off the action against South Bend Roller Derby’s Studebreakers, followed by the Boxcars facing the newest team from South Bend Roller Derby.
Admission to this family-friendly event is $10 for adults, $5 for children aged 5 to 13, and free for kids under 5. Tickets can be purchased at the door and concessions will be available. As seating might be limited, remember to bring a chair.
There's more to this event than just roller derby excitement! South Shore Roller Derby is committed to giving back to the community. A portion of the proceeds from this event will directly benefit Meals on Wheels of Northwest Indiana, making your roller derby experience even more meaningful.
