The Kelley School of Business at Indiana University has been sharing its forecasts for the economies of the nation, Indiana and metro areas for more than 50 years. Their annual tour will stop in Merrillville where panelists will discuss how the changing economic environment will affect business and public policy decisions in the coming year - globally, nationally, statewide, and locally in NWI.
The panelists provide insights into key economic indicators such as GDP growth, inflation, interest rates, and industry trends.

This conversation will focus on the communities of Lake, Porter, Jasper, and Newton County.

Associate Professor of Economics, Indiana University

Micah's research interests cover a range of topics including data analytics, applied microeconomics, health economics, and financial economics. Micah is highly active in the community and serves as the Director of the Center for Economic Education & Research, which is responsible for providing training and education on economic issues.

Russell Rhoads (Financial Markets)

Executive Director of the Indiana Business Research Center Associate Clinical Professor of Business Economics and Public Policy Kelley School of Business, Indiana University

In addition to his director and professor roles, Phil is an associate editor of Business Horizons, the Kelley School's academic journal for management researchers and practitioners. Previously, he was faculty chair of online graduate programs in Bloomington.

Cindy Roberts (Moderator)

Dean, School of Business and Economics, Indiana University Northwest

Cindy is a Professor of Organizational Behavior and Leadership. She is a Registered Organizational Development Consultant (RODC) and has worked with numerous clients in healthcare, retail, banking, and manufacturing who are interested in improving their effectiveness.

Carol Rogers (Indiana Economic Outlook)

Director, Indiana Business Research Center (IBRC) Kelley School of Business, Indiana University

As director of the Indiana Business Research Center, Carol is helping the IBRC move into its second century of service to Indiana, which since 1925 the center has persistently and imaginatively studied the economy and people of the state, sharing its insights and data in ways that can be used in people’s everyday work or their grand strategies. IBRC’s many publications and websites have tens of thousands of users and have won both accolades and awards.

Brian Vander Schee (US/International Outlook)

Clinical Associate Professor of Marketing, Kelley School of Business, Indiana University

Brian is a Clinical Associate Professor of Marketing at the Kelley School of Business in Bloomington. He holds a D.B.A. in Marketing from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater and a Ph.D. in Higher Education Administration from the University of Connecticut
