Governor Eric J. Holcomb is directing flags to be flown at half-staff in Newton County in honor and remembrance of Newton County Sheriff's Deputy Brandon W. Shreiber who passed away in the line of duty on September 11, 2024
Flags should be flown at half-staff from sunrise until sunset in Newton County on Friday, September 20. Gov. Holcomb is asking businesses and residents in Newton County to lower their flags as well.
