Chicago Fire Soccer Club Announces Morningstar Founder & Chairman Joe Mansueto to Acquire 49 Percent Stake in the Team

Chicago Fire Soccer Club Chairman and Owner, Andrew Hauptman, today announced that Morningstar Chairman, Joe Mansueto, has acquired a 49 percent stake in the team. Mr. Mansueto is the first new investor in the Fire since Mr. Hauptman purchased the team in 2007.

Project Lightning Bug - Lighting the way to safer cycling and healthier air!

This summer, Northwest Indiana Clean Air is starting a bicycle safety and air quality education initiative, Project Lightning Bug! The project entails giving away 3,000 FREE bike lights and handing out air quality education materials at public events such as night rides, safety villages, bike rodeos, and the like.

Have fun while getting fit this summer with “Fitness in the Park” hosted by Rosemont’s Parkway Bank Park entertainment district (5501 Park Place, Rosemont). Free classes are open to all skill levels and take place on Parkway Bank Park’s great lawn. Visitors are invited to participate in Yoga, Zumba and Barre Code classes offered Sundays, Mondays and Wednesdays. Participants of any of the Fitness in the Park classes will be eligible to receive 10 percent off food from any of Parkway Bank Park’s restaurants after their fitness class.

Tours of Little Wyandotte Cave last about 30-45 minutes, and tours of Big Wyandotte Cave last 2 hours.
Tours are offered on Friday, Saturday, Sunday and holidays, through Labor Day weekend.

Jackets are recommended for all cave tours because cave temperature is always 52ºF. Comfortable and sturdy shoes are a must.

The Chicago Fire Soccer Club announced today that its home match against Columbus Crew SC, originally scheduled for Aug. 25 at Toyota Park, has been moved to Aug. 23. Kickoff is 6 p.m. CT with broadcasts available on ESPN+ and Univision Deportes Chicago 1200AM.
