Indiana State Police Accepting Applications for Three Regional Dispatchers at the Toll Road Regional Dispatch Center


The Indiana State Police is accepting applications for three Regional Dispatcher positions at the Toll Road Post to staff the Regional Dispatch Center that operates out of that facility located at 52422 CR 17. This dispatch center covers the length of the Toll Road as well as the Bremen District. The Bremen District covers Elkhart, St. Joseph, Marshall, and Kosciusko counties.

INDOT ADA Advisory Group Meets in Gary on November 1


The Indiana Department of Transportation will host the next meeting of its Americans with Disabilities Act Community Advisory Working Group from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. (CST) on Wednesday, November 1, 2017, at Ivy Tech Community College, located at 1440 E. 35th Street , Gary, IN 46409. The meeting is being held pursuant to Indiana’s Open Door Law and the public is welcome and encouraged to attend.

How Does a Project Become a Project
A transportation project begins by identifying a transportation need, challenge, or opportunity, and is developed through a series of consecutive stages and activities. The public is encouraged to participate in planning activities by working through MPOs, RPOs and INDOT District Offices.



The Indiana State Department of Health has begun the process of attaining its accreditation from the Public Health Advisory Board (PHAB). This is a voluntary effort through which state, local and tribal health departments’ performance is measured against a set of nationally recognized, evidenced-based performance measures. Ultimately, the process seeks to advance quality and performance within public health departments.
