Purdue University Northwest and Michigan City Public Library present free screening of movie, ‘The Zookeeper’s Wife’

“The Zookeeper’s Wife” tells the true story of a Warsaw zookeeper, and his wife, who opened their zoo and home to aid in saving hundreds of people during the German invasion of Poland in 1939.

Directed by Niki Caro, “The Zookeeper’s Wife,” is an adaptation of a New York Times bestseller of the same name by Diane Ackerman, who also worked on the script. The film is rated PG-13.
