Last year’s benefit dinner was a record-breaking success with more than $100,000 raised for the shelter. The funds were used towards renovations and initiatives to make the shelter as comfortable as possible for the animals. The theme of this year’s event is “Wags and Whiskers” to honor the friendly cats and dogs housed at the shelter. The theme highlights the amenities, training programs and volunteer care that collectively transforms abused and abandoned animals brought to the shelter into adoptable and people friendly cats and dogs.

Over the course of its history, Orphans of the Storm has made a difference in the lives of more than 120,000 animals, and the families who adopt them. A record breaking 1,933 dogs and cats were adopted out in the year of 2018 alone! This benefit will provide needed funds to help the shelter continue to grow and serve the community.

At the event, guests will also be able to see photos of adoptable animals while perusing luxurious items to take home from the silent auction. Beautiful jewelry, delicious dining packages, exclusive weekend getaways and coveted spa packages are among the many auction items expected.

Individual tickets to the benefit dinner are $250 per person. Sponsor tables are $2,500 and Patron tables are $5,000; both tables seat 10. All proceeds from the evening directly support the efforts of Orphans of the Storm. For additional information or to purchase tickets contact Donna Heggie at 630.567.7240.
