Fragile Soul is a modern mix of soulful heartfelt vocals with the blues rock influences of Red Hot Chili Peppers, Pink Floyd and City and Colour. Their performance will begin at 5:30PM (CDT) in the Hyndman Gallery.

In concurrence with the event, two artists showing in LCA's NIPSCO Art Education Studios will hold their opening receptions. Discover "Inspired to Inspire": our annual show featuring artwork by Michigan City Area Schools (MCAS) art teachers. The exhibiting artists include Holly Beadles, Sue Cleveland, Diane Grams, Samantha Lakin, Erin Ledyard, Julie Pitman, Sarah Quartuccio, Kelly Tokoly-Rothermel, Susanne Vigen and Cheri Whitler.

In the adjacent Area Artists' Association Gallery, Angie McKeehan presents "Noir" featuring photography using hard light and dark shadows to create high contrast images reminiscent of classic film noir. Both exhibitions will on display through October 31.

Guests who have yet to experience "Warhol: Icon & Influence" won't want to miss this First Friday. This internationally renowned work will be on exhibit through October 13.
