South Shore Arts presents "Haunts", the second exhibit in the Urban Legends series, February 8 through April 21 at the Center For Visual & Performing Arts, 1040 Ridge Road, Munster, IN.

Indiana State Museum and Historic Sites presents Color of Style: An experience filled with color, fashion discovery


Explore nine colors through more than 50 outfits from the museum’s historic clothing and costume collection. Consider how yellow speaks differently when used in an everyday summer cotton dress versus a high fashion silk Dior gown. Feel samples of the fabric and learn about some of the pieces from the eye of the designer and the wearer.

The Area Artists Association (AAA) of the Lubeznik Center for the Arts will display a collection of narrative works at the Indiana Welcome Center. The exhibition, “Artist’s Narrative” will be displayed from February 16 to April 21.

Submissions open for 2019 Hoosier Women Artist Contest


The Office of Lieutenant Governor Suzanne Crouch and Indiana State Treasurer Kelly Mitchell, in cooperation with the Indiana Arts Commission, are now accepting entries for the 2019 Hoosier Women Artists Contest. The annual competition, established in 2008, celebrates the importance of the arts in Indiana communities and showcases the work of talented female artists throughout the state.
