Lucky Plush Productions is thrilled to return to Steppenwolf’s LookOut series this fall for a three-week run of "The Better Half" November 2-17 at Steppenwolf’s 1700 Theatre, an 80-seat cabaret-style space connected to Steppenwolf’s own Front Bar: Coffee and Drinks, 1700 N. Halsted St., Chicago.

Dedicated to collecting, preserving and portraying the legacy of Greek history and culture in America, the National Hellenic Museum has the largest collection of Greek American artifacts and recorded oral histories anywhere. The National Hellenic Museum (NHM), 333 S. Halsted St., introduces its newest exhibition — George Kokines: Layers Revealed. On September 20, 2018, the National Hellenic Museum will open the first ever retrospective of the artist George Kokines. Using loaned objects and those from the NHM Collections, this exhibition traces Kokines’ artistic development and accomplishments in Abstract Expressionism as well as his journey to embrace his Greek American identity.

Home to an 800-piece contemporary art collection featuring some of the most important artists of the late 20th and early 21st centuries, the Cleve Carney Art Gallery is located at 425 Fawell Blvd. on the campus of College of DuPage (COD). The gallery is named after the late Cleve Carney (1939-2013), a major influence in the careers of many of Chicago’s most renowned artists. This rich legacy is celebrated in the Cleve Carney Print Portfolio comprised of prints provided by Chicago artists Phyllis Bramson, Michelle Grabner, Judy Ledgerwood, Tony Tassett, and Richard Rezac and the related Cleve Carney Portfolio Exhibition Oct. 25-Nov. 17.
