More events in March:

During the entire month our featured art exhibit is "Cogitating the Inscrutable," the recently installed work of Rick Therrio and Ken Wolak. The intense style and complex composition of over 70 pieces from the artists challenge viewers to make close inspection of the display. Drawing heavily on surreal and fantasy themes, the bold color palette selected and detailed elements packed into each work give an overall sense of wonder and excitement to the exhibit.

SUNDAY, MARCH 24, 1PM, ED BRANN'S RUMBA DE LA REGION DRUM ENSEMBLE; Cuban Rumba is a drum ensemble style of music, created by multiple drummers playing individual rhythms, in a conversational arrangement. Join us in exploring these beautiful rhythms, & learn to speak with one another, through the drum. $5 fee for gallery support. Appropriate instrumentation is provided. Experience is not necessary, but is welcome.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 27, 7PM, JAZZ SHOWCASE WITH ANDY
SUTTON'S ALL STAR BAND. Enjoy an extended, intense set of music with some of the finest players in the Region, Johnny Alto, Nicholas Gerasimos Kazonis, Kris Lohn, Andy Sutton and Joe Marcinek. $10 Cover.

THURSDAY, MARCH 28, 7PM, 431ST ACOUSTIC JAM, $5.

SATURDAY, MARCH 30, 1PM-5PM, SOUTHLAKE ARTIST CO-OP OPEN STUDIO for MARCH, $5.
