A Chicago holiday tradition since 1976, The Do-It-Yourself Messiah has become a highly anticipated event that brings family, friends, and strangers together to celebrate the season.

Led by world-renowned Maestro Stanley Sperber, the Do-It-Yourself Messiah brings together an all-volunteer orchestra of professional and amateur musicians, several highly regarded professional local soloists and encourages you, the audience, to participate in the role of the chorus in a performance of George Frideric Handel’s masterpiece, Messiah.

Do-It-Yourself Messiah will take place on Monday, December 17, and Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at the Harris Theater for Music and Dance, located at 205 East Randolph.
