SUNDAY, JANUARY 27, 1PM, Rumba de la Region, a drum ensemble led by Ed Brann that explores Afro/Cuban rhythms in a lively 3 hour interactive session. Cuban Rumba is a drum ensemble style of music, created by multiple drummers playing individual rhythms, in a conversational arrangement. Join us in exploring these beautiful rhythms, and learn how to talk with one another, through the drum. Appropriate instrumentation will be provided. Experience is not necessary, but is welcome. $5 fee.
