The Indiana Family and Social Services Administration has been informed by the USDA the state must issue Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program benefits for the month of February on Wednesday, January 16, 2019, rather than the previously-reported date of Saturday, January 19.

The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) will host a public information meeting regarding an intersection improvement project on S.R. 261 and Fruitwood Lane in Newburgh, Warrick County. The purpose of the project is to enhance safety by reconstructing the intersection to allow right in and right out access only, restricting other turning movements. The public meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Castle High School, 3344 State Road 261, Newburgh, IN 47630. The meeting will begin at 6:00 p.m. (local time) and be held in the community room.
