Could there BE a cooler concept for the next pop up bar to hit Chicago? Replay Lincoln Park, 2833 N. Sheffield, will launch a ‘Friends’ themed experience beginning Friday, November 9, running through Sunday, November 25. Replay will transform itself from Lincoln Park’s popular arcade bar into the likes of Monica’s apartment, Joey and Chandler’s place and of course, Central Perk. Fans of the show will be able to experience the pop up with their own Ross, Monica, Phoebe, Rachel, Joey and Chandler and participate in many themed events this November.

As millions of Americans flood our nation’s highways this Thanksgiving travel holiday, Indiana State Police will join forces with peer law enforcement agencies in other states as part of Operation C.A.R.E.

Thanksgiving for most, is a day filled with family, food and giving thanks. For the Portage Township YMCA, Thanksgiving is all of that and so much more. On November 22, 2018, the Portage Township YMCA will host its 18th Annual Turkey Trot. Proceeds from this event will benefit their Annual Support Campaign. The Y uses the funds to offset costs of their services through financial assistance to qualifying candidates. Membership and programs are included in this scholarship fund and the Y turns no one away.

Boasting a slew of festive participants from places across the globe including The Bahamas, Puerto Rico, Switzerland and even The North Pole, the 85th Annual Uncle Dan’s Thanksgiving Day Parade is set to bring more than 20 talented marching bands, 13 festive floats, 16 staged theatrical performances, 11 equestrian groups, several cultural groups, inflatables, celebrity guests, thousands of dedicated volunteers and more to Chicago for the 2018 parade. One of the most popular holiday celebrations in the city and the country, taking place Thursday, November 22, 2018 from 8 a.m. to 11 a.m., this free, family-friendly parade runs on State Street from Congress to Randolph in an annual celebration with sights and sounds for attendees of all ages.
