The Indiana Department of Revenue (DOR) is joining the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) in providing taxpayers an additional day to file and pay their taxes following system issues early on the April 17 tax deadline. Individuals and businesses with a filing or payment due date of April 17 will now have until midnight on Wednesday, April 18 to file electronically. Taxpayers do not need to do anything to receive this extra time.

Artist Anna Kunz expands the boundaries of painting in relation to the body in “Anna Kunz: Color Cast,” a new site-specific installation at Hyde Park Art Center on view in Gallery 1 from March 11 – June 24, 2018. Experience the somatic qualities of pigment by entering canyons of painted canvas, walking on top of a raised platform-as-painting and moving along boldly printed and projected walls of color. Stage 773 producers of The Chicago Sketch Comedy Festival and Chicago Women’s Funny Festival are excited to announce the return of Comedy Prep School (CPS), a one-day festival for young comedians on Saturday, May 12 from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Comedy Prep School features workshops taught by professional performers and teachers from Chicago’s world class comedy institutions, as well as opportunities to learn, play, and perform with 100+ fellow young comedians.
