Spotlighting events along the south shore of Lake Michigan

“We are thrilled to welcome Chef Peter to the 210 team," said 210 Live Co-Owner Judy Shatkin. “Not only is he an award-winning BBQ master, but his culinary expertise will bring a new edge to the competitive Highwood restaurant scene.”

McCarthy comes from a background deeply rooted in fine cuisine, earning his start with training from the Culinary Institute of America, growing to launch Pier 5736 and build the restaurant’s design and menu creation from the ground up, winning a place as one of the Chicago Reader’s Top 50 Restaurants for two consecutive years. McCarthy will bring his affinity for fine food to the venue’s signature Barbecue-style menu, adding a fresh kick for the summer months and beyond.
